XTERRA FS 3.0 Elliptical Trainer Review

XTERRA FS 3.0 elliptical trainers are inexpensive machines designed for the budget-minded. They compete heavily in the $500-$1,000 price range with brands like ProForm and Nordic Track. . They are generally equipped with cheap components, & are not well engineered. Spending $1,000 or less is not going to buy you a precision machine. That is evident when you test the XTERRA FS 3.0 elliptical trainers. Its look like bike.

Most of my fitness equipment testing is at stores like Dick's Sporting or Sports Authority. Testing equipment in these mass retail environments can be very revealing. That is due to the fact these machines are abused. You get a real sense of the durability of a particular model.

XTERRA FS 3.0 Review:
My experience is that the XTERRA FS 3.0 elliptical trainers do not hold up well under strenuous use. At least half the machines I tested had loose handlebars. Of course, all you have to do is tighten them, but few other machines had that problem. Some of the XTERRA FS 3.0 elliptical developed squeaks, while others seemed less than stable.

Small Stride Lengths
My biggest complaint about the XTERRA FS 3.0 elliptical trainers is the stride. Although this is not true with all their machines, I find many have a very small stride. I am average height, and when I get on the lower cost XTERRA FS 3.0 ellipticals, the stride seems short and restricting. It is less of an elliptical motion, and more circular. You tend to bounce. This is particularly true with the ellipticals that have the 14" stride. They are designed for little people. The 18" stride machines are preferable.

Feature:
If you are shopping for a XTERRA FS 3.0 elliptical trainer, you will notice they have numerous models. They sell in two series, the Elite and the XTERRA FS 3.0. On their web site, I counted 13 models. On Dick's Sporting Goods site, I counted several more models that are not listed on the XTERRA FS 3.0 site.

Advance Feature:
Incase you were considering purchasing a XTERRA FS 3.0, Consider the CSE 4.6 or the EX44. Both are available at Dick's, and have 18" strides, with a nice range of resistance levels. Call first to see if the store in your area carries these models. You may also want to consider an extended warranty, particularly if you plan to use the machine extensively. Baby and children need to safe from equipment.

So should you purchase a XTERRA FS 3.0 elliptical Machine? It depends! If your budget is limited and you cannot spend more than $1,000, the XTERRA FS 3.0 is definitely a contender, and one of the better values. However, if you plan to workout regularly, and want quality and durability, you need to move up to the $1,500+ price range.

FitDesk Under Desk Elliptical Trainer Review

FitDesk Under Desk is part of Icon the largest fitness manufacture in the world. The Key feature of the CX 1055 is the ability to change the slope or incline of the stride, which effectively changes the shape of the stride. This truly makes the elliptical trainer a true cross trainer.

Elliptical Trainer Icon:
The relatively new technology is owned and patented by Procor. Icon is licensing it for FitDesk Under Desk Elliptical Trainer elliptical trainer. Icon is known for its fitness equipment marketing expertise and the addition of the new technology to its line of elliptical trainers is typical of its corporate strategy. Its too comfortable like a biking.

FitDesk Elliptical Trainer Feature:
We searched our local area for a FitDesk Under Desk Elliptical Trainerto try out for our review. We could only find 3 these elliptical trainers within commuting distance. After considerable amount of effort we finally found a FitDesk Under Desk Elliptical Trainer owner that would let us use their elliptical trainer for testing. We immediately discovered that one of our testers would not be able to use the elliptical trainer. Our weight lifter and martial artist weighs in at 280 lbs and the weight limit for the FitDesk Under Desk Elliptical Traineris 250 lbs.

FitDesk Elliptical Trainer Review:
The three remaining testers each used the CX 1055 elliptical trainer for 5 days. It immediately became apparent that the power incline is a very good feature. The owner stated that this feature was the primary reason for purchasing this unit. You can easily target several different muscle groups during a 30 minute workout. The units' owner has had one warranty issue that remains unresolved concerning the console. Occasionally the electronics would shut down with no apparent reason.
The FitDesk Under Desk Elliptical Trainerelliptical trainer has several good features that you will want to consider when purchasing an elliptical trainer. These include

Advance Feature:
Power on the fly incline changes that allow you to target more muscle groups.Bright display consoleRelatively quiet Magnetic resistanceA total of 19 fitness routinesIFite compatibility that provides additional fitness programs and information.One-year warranty instead of the standard 90 day for parts and labor. At $999.00 it is relatively low priced. The MyDesign allows you to design your own workout program.
Elliptical trainer purchasers will also want to consider some of what we consider as negative features of the FitDesk Under Desk Elliptical Trainer elliptical trainer. These include.

Tips for FitDesk Elliptical Trainer
Poor quality of components Less than average reliability250 lbs weight limitation eliminates many overweight people from using this elliptical trainer. The elliptical trainer becomes quite load during intensive workouts' Flimsy plastic parts that shake amid workouts.Cardio hold was flighty working for one analyzer however not another. The 18-inch Stride may be to short for a few clients when the force grade is being used.

We feel that the FitDesk Under Desk Elliptical Traineris most likely a decent purchase for easygoing in home use. Only use 18+ adult not for baby or kids.

You certainly get a lot of great features at a good price. However considering that it is an Icon company product the reliability of this elliptical trainer is in question. The FitDesk Under Desk Elliptical Trainerelliptical trainer does have a one-year warranty for parts and labor. Never the less we always suggest that you purchase an extended warranty when purchasing any piece of fitness equipment.

I like to write and I write some feature about elliptical trainer.

The popularity of the Elliptical machine is off the charts, every gym you visit they are the first machines that you will encounter. They are also constantly being updated and extra features added seeing how well they have been received amongst the gym crowd and even people who work out at home.

Schwinn 420 Feature:
Therefore the excellence of the Schwinn 420 comes as no surprise because it has been widely acclaimed for its comfort and ease to use. Reading various well respected Schwinn 420 Elliptical Machine reviews you get the notion that it is a well respected machine.
The most attractive selling point of the Schwinn 420 is its pocket friendly nature, for a machine that makes exercising so easy it is quite fairly well priced. The investment is worth it because the service one gets from the Schwinn 420 is bound to be long and without having to repair it regularly as evidenced by other earlier models of the same series.

Smart Fitness Machine:
The Schwinn 420 is also quite user friendly and not as complicated as most of the modern exercise machines that have flooded the current market. One can easily use it since the console that is in built is very user friendly. The console of the Schwinn 420 has quite the up to date console which allows you to personally program and control your workouts as you wish.

Technology Friendly Fitness Machine:
Other significant features include; a display screen that is beautiful to look at and track any changes like calories burnt, time elapsed and various distances. It also amazingly has a built in audio port complete with speakers which ensures that working out is no longer boring.

The only evident drawback is that the warranty is limited to a few years which puts it behind a few of its contemporaries. All in all, it is quite the fun exercise machine that you will enjoy using. I also write about fitdesk and xetrra fx you can read for more feature about elliptical trainer.
